Consoada - White and Dark Chocolate with Peppermint Bits
One of my favorite traditions from Portugal is the traditional Christmas Eve dinner, A Consoada. Consisting of boiled codfish, collard greens, potatoes, carrots and eggs, the dish is shared with family and friends on the night of Christmas Eve. It is then followed by delicious traditional Portuguese desserts, and then the giving of Christmas gifts.
This bar is a tribute to this tradition, and (luckily for you!) contains absolutely none of the ingredients of its namesake dinner. I wanted to create a Christmas bar you could share with your loved ones. This bar is similar to other, larger, squarer chocolate companies (cough Ghirardelli cough,) just much better 😅
With both white and dark chocolates and a dash of peppermint bits, we know this will be one of your favorite holiday treats.
